Hatsune Miku

I don't normally post this many photos of one costume, but I'm rather proud of it and got amazing photos from Tiffany Chang.

I've always wanted to make something pretty and frilly. I took on lot with this costume.

The entire costume contains 21 circle skirts. All hand gathered and serged. There are 200 beads hand beaded into the top and balero. All the trim on the bodice is also hand sewn on. The hat was a felt hat that I covered in glitter because everything in the world needs glitter.

There's actually more I want to do with the costume, but it's a pain to wear and it's REALLY heavy.
